It has been a busy, but totally brilliant November running sessions at the Saïd Business School and having the great pleasure to work with Jim Parkyn, head model maker at Aardman. It doesn’t stop there, as there are exciting projects at the Museum of Oxford and the Museum of the History of Science on the horizon.

Werewolves

Today at my 3 Day Halloween workshop, one of the things we did were animations of turning people into werewolves (see this post for the models pre-transformation!).

This was a challenging task, especially as many of the participants were new to stop motion animation. We planned our films carefully thinking about which parts to change and how to create tension with different camera angles and close-ups. Watch this space for the films: ripped shirts, snarling jaws, razor-sharp claws – they’re horrifying!
