Hello, I’m Emma. I set up StopMoGo in 2010 and have been making films and creating immersive stop motion animation workshops worlds ever since.
My work is crafted from years of experience as a qualified teacher and a further fifteen years of running StopMoGo workshops.
I create fully realised stories that participants can step inside and bring to life. Within each of my immersive worlds are engaging activities that I develop for structured learning across a variety of stop motion skills.
I directed two films that won Ray Harryhausen Awards for “Best Children’s Film Animation”.
I am also the creator of Animating Wonderland, a six-room immersive installation.
Pip and Pogo are StopMoGo’s mascots. You’ll often spot them in the posters I create for my workshops.
MY DESIGN PORTFOLIO
In addition to the animations, puppets and props I create for StopMoGo, I also do all of the graphic design, motion graphics, illustration, and web design.
