This was my contribution to the Mini Maker Faire at Summerhall, as part of the Edinburgh International Science Festival.
I created lots of science-themed stop motion activities for members of the public to take part in and have a go at animating.
Watch the films below!
I created a whole host of props, including robot puppets, light bulbs, test tubes and beakers.
To show the basics of animation, I also prepared thaumatropes for people to colour in or design their own.
I also made a robot head for one of the activities from a cardboard box covered in tin foil, with card and bottle top buttons, and the top of a water bottle for its antenna.
Thanks to my lovely volunteers, it was a fabulous success!
